Nice natural raffia, but came all the way from China, which i had no idea about when ordering. A bit silly and wasteful to travel across the world, but there you are. I have got it now. Being a natural product i like to use it in the garden: it blends in well and is indeed natural, so best way of supporting plants.

I was looking for fine jute twine for some wedding floral table decorations and ordered this because it looks more rustic than the standard ply string. It was really pleasant to work with and I ended up using it to hang some poloroids from too with bespoke patterned pegs. The room looked great and received many compliments. You get a lot so it is now safely stored away for other craft projects or just gardening tasks. It arrived quickly and was a natural hessian colour..

Delivery and packaging: The twine came from overseas and arrived in a satisfactory time. It was packaged in a strong bang and although a little squashed arrived in good condition.

Review: The twine is a lot thinner than others I have purchased and I was a little disappointed if I'm honest. I wanted it to tie parcels but it is too thin for that.... That said it is perfect for attaching brown labels to traditionally wrapped parcels so although it cannot be used for what I originally intended it is still a good item.

Overview: I would recommend.

This is more like thread than twine. it is really thin and its a dull sorrel colour not shiny in the picture. It has hairs sticking out of it and it actually gives me the shivers a little bit I don't particularly like the feel of it at all. I wanted twine to make flowers out of as I had seen it done online but this is completely unsuitable for that as its really flimsy. It would probably be suitable for tying up small packages but not for anything heavy duty. I wouldn't buy it again.

It is just what I expected it to be. It's thin (Like I was looking for), it's strong, and it's natural. It is a little 'hairy' as in bit's of it poke out along it, so if you're looking for something neat, this isn't it. If you want a rustic or natural look, this is good though :)

I bought this last year for my home made wedding invites, table accessories and a few other things. Although quite thin and not perfect I actually liked it. Have to buy a second roll as I have run out, hope if arrives in time.

I believe the item arrived as described by the seller, and it was almost certainly my own ignorance that resulted in some minor disappointment the the twine was not just a little thicker. I'm using the twine with mini clothespins, to hang pictures on the wall, and while this will be perfectly adequate, it won't be quite as cute as if were just a little thicker.

It's OK. Not fantastic. Definitely suitable for card making / scrap booking. Probably not for using as wrapping decoration, unless it didn't have to take any tension.

Its says 1mm in the description which is true, but it is very weak, breaks easily.

Also left little flecks of twine everywhere! It sheds!

This is VERY thin, no good for what I wanted to do with it, that'll teach me to not read the description properly! It'll be ok to use in garden.

I didn't realise how thin this was going to be, and was a little disappointed when it arrived. Much thinner than standard ball of string. It also frays quite a lot. Having said that, it's a nice, rustic-looking string and was fine for what I needed (no pun intended!).
